RESERVATIONS

Kane Plantation Guesthouse caters to adults and children over the age of 14 and children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a family member. We regret that while we love animals, pets cannot be accommodated.


A deposit for the first night’s accommodation, plus taxes, is required to secure your reservation, and will be charged to the Visa, MasterCard, or Discover card provided. We regret that we do not accept American Express. Your reservation is confirmed once your deposit has been successfully processed. A confirmation email will be sent to you by our reservation system. The balance of your account is due at check-out and may be paid with credit card or cash.


Each of our luxury suites is designed for the comfort and enjoyment of two guests.


CANCELLATIONS

We understand that sometimes your travel plans can unexpectedly change. Because Kane Plantation Guesthouse is a small Bed and Breakfast, cancellations or changes to your reservation can affect us greatly. We recommend all guests to purchase travel insurance to protect against the financial penalties for cancellation. For residents of the United States, we recommend Travel Guard Insurance.


When you make your reservation, you agree to the following:


  1. If your travel plans change after your reservation is confirmed, notice of cancellation is required at least 14 days prior to your booked arrival date. With a minimum 14-days’ notice of cancellation, we will refund your deposit.


  1. For cancellations or changes to your departure date less than 14 days ahead of your arrival date, your credit card will be charged in full for the entire reservation. We will make every effort to rebook your suite(s) and refund you for any nights successfully rebooked by another guest.


  1. Refunds or discounts are not given for late arrivals, early departures, or no-shows.


Kane Plantation Guesthouse cannot accept responsibility for cancellations due to bad weather, changes to your travel plans, flight changes, personal sickness or injury, family emergencies, recall to work, etc.


Cancellations must be made by telephone, but also require a confirmation email.


CHECK-IN and CHECK-OUT

Normal check-in time is from 4pm to 6pm. So that we can properly welcome you, please let us know the approximate time of your arrival and provide us a contact telephone number. If your proposed arrival time changes after you make your reservation, or if you are delayed, please let us know by calling +1 808 328 2416 or +1 808 936 3398.


If you plan to arrive earlier than 3pm, let us know, and, if possible, we will have your suite ready for early check-in. Otherwise, we are happy to stow your luggage until the suite is ready.


Check-out time is 11am. If you are on a late flight leaving the island, we may be able to accommodate a later check-out time depending on availability.


BREAKFAST

We serve breakfast at 8.30 each morning in the dining room. While we will try our best to accommodate special diets, we regret that this may not always be possible.


SMOKING

For the health, comfort, and safety of our guests and staff, smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted within the suites, on the lanais, or within 30 feet of covered spaces. Guests are welcome to enjoy their tobacco products in our gardens. A minimum USD250 cleaning fee will be charged for smoking inside suites or common areas.
